In an effort to provide guidance and assistance, the Faculty of Dentistry recently designed a new programme which will provide an opportunity to update knowledge and skills. This modular-based course will be delivered by a wide range of experienced lecturers who will bring relevant and practical information to you. It is hoped that an element of hands-on training will be included in the future. The programme, which commenced in March 2011, will be based in the RCSI each Saturday morning on a monthly basis over an eight month period each year. Attendance at these eight modules will count towards the yearly requirements for CPD as laid down by the Dental Council. For those who are preparing for Faculty Membership examinations, this format will also provide much of the necessary information and support required.
